Kazimierz ZARUDZKI
( 1909-1993 )
Born and educated in Poland. During the war, served in Britain in the merchant navy. Married Anni With (below) and emigrated to Canada in 1956. His wife and 3 children joined him a year later. Retired in Saint-Sauveur, where he died at age 84.
Anni ZARUDZKA
( 1916-2008 )
Née With, born and educated in Denmark, went to England in 1939 to complete her education and stayed to work as a broadcaster for the BBC during the war. For her war work, received the Memory Medal for the Liberation of Denmark. Married Kazik Zarudzki (above), they had 3 children, Hella, Richard and Julia. The family settled in Montreal in 1957.

Anni worked in several positions, including at the Montreal Neurological Institute.

After retirement, the couple moved to Saint-Sauveur. After her widowhood, Anni spent her winters in Florida. She died in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts aged 92.
